Hiking is an activity which
entails unavoidable risks/dangers/accidents that every hiker assumes and must
be aware of and respect. Trails vary
greatly in difficulty and in the degree of conditioning and agility one needs
to enjoy them safely. A hiker can
minimize risks on the trail by being knowledgeable, prepared, and alert. Each hiker takes full responsibility for his
or her own safety.
The undersigned hereby
voluntarily assumes all risks of personal injury and/or property damage which
may occur to him or her in connection with or in manner related to
participation in hiking or other activities of the Lincoln Hills Hiking Group,
and hereby agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless all leaders and
members of said Group from any and all claims, damages, causes of action or
actions which may accrue to the undersigned by reason of such personal injury
or property damage.
